Cedar Lodge Care Home

Cedar Lodge provides accommodation and personal care for up to 19 people, including those living with dementia. The home operates across two floors with communal areas on the ground floor and ensuite bedrooms throughout. At the time of inspection, 18 people were residing at the home.

Following previous concerns about health assessments, medicines management, and fire safety, the provider implemented an action plan to address these issues. Inspectors found that risks associated with people's care were now managed safely, with improved management of health and welfare risks and environmental safety concerns. The provider's systems had become more effective at identifying and addressing areas requiring improvement.
