Following concerns raised about care quality, the CQC rated the home inadequate overall and it has been placed in special measures.

Inspectors found people were not kept safe, staffing levels and training were inadequate, and food preparation areas were unhygienic. The service operated a closed culture with poor incident reporting, inconsistent care planning, and failures to apply the Mental Capacity Act properly. Dignity, choice and person-centred care were not consistently upheld, relatives felt poorly informed, and the provider remained in breach of several regulations identified at earlier inspections.
