Cedar House

Cedar House accommodates up to 12 people with multiple disabilities who require full support with daily living. At inspection, 10 residents were living there. Relatives confirmed their family members were safe and receiving good care and support. The home maintained safe recruitment processes and had thoroughly assessed risks related to residents' health and care needs, with clear guidance documented to minimise these risks. Medicines were managed safely and administered as prescribed, and sufficient competent staff were available to meet people's needs. The environment was clean and odour-free with enhanced infection control measures in place. Staff received effective training and felt well-supported by the management team, particularly during recent months. The service demonstrated a positive culture focused on personalised care, with staff supporting residents to make choices and maintain control over their lives in the least restrictive way possible and in their best interests.
