Cedar House Care Home

Cedar House Care Home provides care and accommodation for up to 44 older people on the outskirts of Rothley, Leicestershire. With 38 residents at the time of inspection, the home was well-staffed with responsive care. Residents spoke positively about their experience, with one person describing it as "the nicest place I could stay" where they felt well looked after. Another resident, who initially came on respite care, chose to stay permanently, saying "I love it here, I don't want to go anywhere else."

Staff demonstrated attentiveness to residents' needs, promptly responding to requests. One resident noted that staff would quickly fulfil simple requests like providing an extra pillow, commenting "They listen." The home provided safe care, with staff demonstrating knowledge of how to protect people from harm.
