Camberley Cottage

Camberley Cottage provides accommodation and personal care for up to six adults with learning disabilities and associated health and support needs in a large house designed to meet people's mobility requirements. At inspection, the service was supporting six people. The home has good systems in place to keep people safe, with staff having appropriately assessed risks and taken action to protect residents from abuse or avoidable harm. A committed team of managers and staff with suitable skills and knowledge supports people effectively.

The care model maximises people's choice, control and independence, with staff supporting residents in the least restrictive way possible and in their best interests. People are encouraged to develop their skills and independence, with policies and systems throughout the service supporting this approach to care.
