Bushell House is a large Georgian grade two listed building set in its own grounds in the village of Goosnargh. The care home provides accommodation and care for up to 31 older people, with 23 residents at the time of inspection. Accommodation is arranged over three floors with lift access, and all rooms are ensuite.

The home includes communal spaces such as lounges, a dining room, and a library.

Visitors are able to spend time with loved ones in suitable safe spaces through arranged appointments. Families have been supported to spend time with people at the end of their lives in a safe and dignified manner. The building's layout and use of different entrance areas support good practice in facilitating these visits.
