Burton Oaks is a residential care home accommodating up to 28 older people and people living with dementia. During inspection, 21 people were living at the service.

The home had implemented safe visitor arrangements including a booking system, rapid LFD testing, vaccination checks, temperature monitoring and sign-in procedures for relatives, friends and professionals. Staff used isolation, cohorting and zoning strategies to manage infection risk, with people self-isolating in their rooms when necessary and staff allocated to work in specific areas of the service.
