Bulwell

Bulwell is a residential home across two conjoined buildings and a bungalow, providing personal care to adults with a learning disability and autistic people, supporting up to 22 people. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding people were kept safe, medicines were managed well, and staff received good training and supervision. Care was dignified, and staff and managers shared a positive culture focused on helping people access ordinary opportunities.

Inspectors noted some gaps: support plans and risk assessments were not always fully completed or person-centred, documentation around community activities was limited, and staff did not always interact consistently or support meaningful activities. A previous breach relating to safe care and governance had been resolved, with improvements confirmed at this assessment.
