Broughton House provides nursing, residential and respite care specifically for ex-Service men and women. The purpose-built facility accommodates up to 32 people across two floors. At the time of inspection, 19 people were living at the home.

People felt safe at the home. Staff had received safeguarding training and knew how to identify and report concerns. Risks to residents and the environment had been assessed with actions taken to minimise them.

Accidents and incidents were documented and reviewed to help prevent recurrence. The home deployed enough staff to meet people's needs.
