Brightcare

Brightcare provides accommodation and personal care for up to six people with a learning disability. At the time of inspection, five people were living there, with the sixth bedroom being used as a dining room. The service occupies a chalet bungalow set in a residential area of St Marys Bay village, with all accommodation on the ground floor.

Each person has their own single room.

The inspection found that the provider had addressed previous shortfalls identified in areas including medicines, care planning, notification of events, premises and equipment, complaint procedures, and systems to assess, monitor and improve the service.
