About St Brannocks

St Brannocks is a residential care home in Kent, providing support for autistic people, people with a learning disability, and those needing help with their mental health. Further detail on how the home performs is set out in the CQC findings below.

St Brannocks provides care for up to six autistic people, people with a learning disability and those needing support with their mental health. The CQC rated the home Good overall, prompted partly by concerns raised about support with mobility and distress. Inspectors found staff knew people well, managed risk sensitively and helped people build skills and pursue personal goals safely.

People told inspectors they felt happy, respected and able to be themselves, praising kind, consistent staff and the keyworker system. Safeguarding practice was sound and leaders learned from incidents. One person felt there were not always enough staff drivers, but overall the culture was person-centred and inclusive.
