Branch Court Care Home

Branch Court Care Home is a residential care service supporting older people and younger adults who may be living with dementia or have physical disabilities. The CQC found the service requires improvement, identifying breaches relating to good governance and staffing. Medicines were given safely but storage was not properly monitored, and staff training, supervision and risk-related paperwork all needed improvement.

Despite this, inspectors found people were treated with kindness, dignity and respect, and were involved in decisions about their care. People felt safe, praised the food and knew staff well. Leaders were visible and supportive, though some known issues had not been fully addressed, and governance systems did not always identify or resolve problems found during the assessment.
