Could the NHS fund Blackberry Hill's fees?
NHS Continuing Healthcare could cover 100% of care costs with no means test.
Blackberry Hill provides care and accommodation for up to 10 adults with learning disabilities. The service currently supports nine residents in a two-storey house with a purpose-built extension.
The home has implemented robust infection control measures, including a sanitising station at the entrance where staff and visitors clean their hands and disinfect shoes before entering. Health declaration forms are completed on arrival and visitors' temperatures are checked. Staff have received training in infection control procedures, including proper techniques for putting on and removing personal protective equipment.
