About Belsfield House

Belsfield House is a nursing home in Blackpool, providing care for older adults and younger adults, including people living with physical disabilities, dementia or mental health conditions. Details of the most recent CQC findings are set out below.

Belsfield House provides accommodation, nursing and personal care for up to 40 people, including older adults, younger adults, and those living with physical disabilities, dementia or mental health conditions. The CQC found the home was performing well overall, having addressed previous concerns around medicines management and safe care. Some minor environmental and infection control issues were noted but resolved during the assessment.

Inspectors found staff to be exceptionally kind and person-centred, with strong relationships between staff, people and families. Care planning, activities and healthcare support were well managed, though some quality audits and policies needed further improvement, and staff communication was being strengthened through additional training.
