Beech Haven

Beech Haven is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care for up to 29 people, including older adults living with dementia. At inspection, 26 people were using the service. Staff received training to support people's needs and were encouraged to prioritize residents' wishes and wellbeing. The provider addressed recruitment check improvements identified during the inspection. While staffing levels could occasionally be stretched, adequate staff were present on the inspection day to meet people's needs.

People felt safe at the service. Staff understood how to safeguard residents from abuse and mitigate identified safety risks. The home maintained clean, hygienic conditions and followed current infection control practices to prevent infection spread.
