About Baytrees

Baytrees is a residential care home in Hampshire, providing support for people with learning disabilities and/or autism. Details of the Care Quality Commission's most recent findings on the home are set out below.

Baytrees provides care and accommodation for four people with learning disabilities and/or autism in an adapted building with bedrooms, shared living spaces and a garden. The service employs a flexible staffing model using bank and regular agency staff to ensure people receive the support they need. Infection control is managed effectively with regular spot checks on hand hygiene and cleaning practices.

The manager demonstrates strong understanding of safeguarding around health decisions, having supported residents to understand how to keep themselves safe during the pandemic, including guidance on testing and vaccination. The home provides dedicated staff spaces for breaks, PPE removal and meals. A garden room has been adapted to give one resident additional personal space, supporting their wellbeing during periods when more time is spent at the home.
