People are safeguarded from abuse through systems that ensure staff understand how to recognise and report incidents. Risk assessments and care plans are put in place and reviewed regularly. Staffing levels are sufficient to implement these plans and minimise safety risks.

Staff are safely recruited and appropriately skilled, with clear guidance on medicine administration. Medicines are stored safely and regularly checked, and staff follow infection prevention controls to protect residents' wellbeing.
