About Ashton

Ashton is a small residential care home in Wokingham, providing personal care for people with learning disabilities and autistic spectrum disorder. Further details on the CQC's most recent findings are set out below.

This care home provides personal care for up to three people with learning disabilities and autistic spectrum disorder. At the time of inspection, three people were living there. Staff knew residents well and were well trained, providing effective health care and support.

People received care in the least restrictive way possible, with maximum choice and control over their lives. Their rights to make decisions were protected, and risks to personal safety had been assessed with plans in place to minimise those risks. Residents felt safe with the staff providing their support and care and were protected from the risks of abuse.
