Arden Grange Nursing & Residential Care Home

Arden Grange Nursing and Residential Care Home provides nursing and personal care for up to 45 people, including those with dementia. The home is an adapted building with all care provided on the ground floor, featuring lounges, dining areas, outdoor spaces, and bathrooms and toilets positioned near communal areas. At inspection, 23 people were using the service.

Inspectors identified concerns around medicines management, which were not always handled safely. Additionally, people were not consistently supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives, with staff not always supporting them in the least restrictive way possible or in their best interests. While some environmental risks from the previous inspection had been improved, certain areas still required ongoing work.
