Appletrees is a residential care home providing personal care and accommodation for up to eight people with learning disabilities. At inspection, the home was at full capacity with eight residents.

The service had strong infection prevention measures in place, including a visiting policy aligned with national guidance that effectively screened all visitors for potential Covid-19 symptoms during the inspection period. The home had also developed several documents in easy read format to support staff in communicating with residents.
