Oaklands is a care home for up to six people with learning disabilities and those on the autistic spectrum. The service remained rated Good overall, with the responsive question improving to Outstanding. Staff demonstrated innovative approaches to supporting people, helping them increase independence and life skills while meeting their individual needs. People were supported to identify their own goals and ambitions, with a highly motivated staff team working to help them achieve these. The registered manager was present and engaged throughout the inspection. People knew how to make complaints and staff understood the process for addressing concerns.
