Could the NHS fund Ann Marie Howes Centre's fees?
NHS Continuing Healthcare could cover 100% of care costs with no means test.
The Ann Marie Howes Centre is a purpose-built care home accommodating up to 32 people who require personal care. At inspection, 20 residents over 65 were living there with dementia and/or physical disabilities. Staff had received training in safeguarding and understood how to keep people safe, with proper recruitment checks carried out before appointments. Medication was administered safely and staff followed good infection control practices. Residents were supported by kind and caring staff who knew them well.
