Amberley House - London

Amberley House is a residential care home in London providing accommodation and personal care for up to 30 older people, some living with dementia. At the time of the assessment only a small number of people were living there. The CQC rated the home Requires Improvement overall, though inspectors found previous breaches around risk assessment, staff training and governance had now been addressed.

Inspectors found good practice in several areas, with people describing staff as kind, supportive and reliable, and saying they felt safe. However, the CQC noted the provider still needs to show it can embed and sustain these improvements consistently, which will be reviewed at future assessments.
