Alison House

Alison House is a care home without nursing, offering short stay respite care and support for up to 5 adults with a learning disability. The CQC rated the service Good overall. Inspectors found people were kept safe, received their medicines correctly, and lived in a clean, well-maintained environment.

Staff treated people with respect and dignity, and family members praised their kindness.

People received personalised care that reflected their preferences, with support to access activities and healthcare. Some systems, including how accidents and incidents were managed, needed improvement, and some care records required updating. The provider had identified most issues through its own audits and had an action plan in place.
