Alban Manor Nursing Home

Alban Manor Nursing Home provides nursing and personal care for up to 80 older people, including those living with dementia. At the time of the assessment, 56 people were using the service. The CQC previously found breaches around governance, safe care and staff training, but this assessment found the provider had made the necessary improvements and the rating has moved from requires improvement to good.

Inspectors found risks were well assessed, staffing levels were sufficient, and incidents were investigated with lessons learned. People and relatives spoke positively about staff and felt safe and involved in decisions about their care. Management had strengthened oversight systems, creating a culture of continuous improvement and openness.
