The CQC rated the service Requires Improvement overall, finding breaches relating to person-centred care, safe care and treatment, and governance. Risks were not always well assessed, bathing facilities lacked dignity, and oversight had not caught these issues.

Inspectors found people were cared for warmly by staff who knew them well, and staffing levels were sufficient. Relatives and staff praised recent improvements led by the acting and area managers, though more work was needed to build trust, widen social opportunities, and support people's longer-term goals.
