Taigh Shiphoirt

Taigh Shiphoirt is a care home for older people located on the Isle of Lewis, in the Na h-Eileanan Siar council area. Operated by Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, the home provides residential care for up to 67 residents. At its most recent Care Inspectorate inspection in June 2025, Taigh Shiphoirt achieved an average grade of 4.2 out of 6, corresponding to a Good rating on the regulator's 1 to 6 scale.

The home supports residents with a wide range of needs, including dementia, frailty, mental health conditions, learning difficulties, acquired brain injury, Korsakoff's syndrome, physical disability or illness, and visual impairment.
