Winterfell Care Home

Winterfell Care Home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 41 people, including older and younger adults living with dementia, mental health needs, learning disabilities and physical disabilities. Around 32 people were living there when the CQC assessed the service, which is rated good overall.

Inspectors found people felt safe, well cared for and supported by staff who knew them well and treated them with respect. Access to external health professionals was timely, and people felt confident raising complaints. This marks an improvement in safety and leadership since the previous inspection, though visiting professionals noted a lack of activities.
