Wigginton Cottage

Wigginton Cottage provides accommodation and personal care to eight younger people with learning disabilities and Prader-Willi syndrome, a rare genetic disorder. The home implements thoughtful safety measures, including Covid-19 screening questionnaires and temperature checks for all visitors to protect residents. Staff create social stories to help residents understand challenging situations like the pandemic and manage their anxiety levels, using short descriptions of particular situations to explain what to expect and why.
