Wellington Park Nursing Home

Wellington Park Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care to up to 30 people aged 65 and over, some living with dementia. The home accommodates residents in one adapted building and had 20 people living there at the time of inspection.

People were safe at the home, with safeguarding processes in place to help protect them from abuse. Staff had access to risk assessments and guidance for people's care. However, some risk assessments lacked comprehensiveness and person-centred detail, meaning they did not always capture individual needs and preferences effectively.
