Tremona Care Home

Tremona Care Home accommodates up to 44 older people and provides care and support services. During the inspection, adequate personal protective equipment was available, and staff had received training on its proper use. Staff demonstrated knowledge of correct donning and doffing procedures and understood how PPE protected both themselves and residents. Used PPE was appropriately disposed of as clinical waste with regular collection by the contractor.

To help residents maintain contact during visiting restrictions, staff had implemented alternative ways for people to stay connected with family and friends.
