The Meadows Short Break Centre

The Meadows Short Break Centre provides short breaks for adults with learning disabilities and/or physical disabilities, ranging from brief tea visits to stays of up to two weeks. The service accommodates up to four people in single en-suite rooms and serves a regular contract base of approximately 44 people. At the time of inspection, four people were staying at the centre.

The service is designed to promote choice and independence for its users. Staff work with individuals to support them in maintaining autonomy while accessing the respite care they need.
