The Leys Care Home

The Leys Care Home provides personal care for up to 35 people, including those with dementia and older adults. At inspection, 13 people were using the service. The ground floor home includes communal lounges and outdoor space for residents to access.

People were safeguarded from abuse and harm, with risks properly assessed to keep them safe. Staff supported people to make decisions in line with the Mental Capacity Act, and there were sufficient staff to meet people's needs, recruited safely. Medicines were managed safely and infection prevention practices were followed, with the home visibly clean. Relatives were kept informed and could visit without restriction.
