The Cedars Nursing Home

The Cedars Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care to 37 people aged 65 and over, with capacity for up to 59 residents. The service operates two distinct areas within the building, one of which specialises in dementia care. During the inspection, part of the home was undergoing refurbishment and remained closed.

Inspectors identified that the provider's visiting policy did not align with current Government guidance at the start of the inspection, which restricted one person's family members from visiting inside the building. Following this finding, the manager confirmed the provider was revising their visiting policy to address this issue and enable the family members to visit.
