The Bellingham Residential Care Home

At the time of inspection, 11 residents were living at the home. People felt safe and told inspectors they had never had to wait for care. Relatives confirmed their family members were well cared for and felt confident in the management. Staff demonstrated appropriate training and knowledge to keep people safe, managing risks in ways that respected dignity and personal preferences.

Care was delivered with respect and dignity, with staff seeking consent before any actions. Care plans were developed collaboratively with residents and relatives involved throughout. Staff morale was high with a caring culture evident throughout the home. Inspectors observed that staffing levels were appropriate and staff were committed to supporting people's individual preferences and life choices.
