The Ashurst is a residential care home on the seafront providing personal care for up to 19 people. At the time of inspection, 16 residents were supported by a consistent staff team who knew people and their needs well. One resident praised the home, saying "This is quite a nice place to live in, I wouldn't want to move from here.

The staff are so helpful.

Staff were safely recruited and received ongoing training to support them in their roles effectively.
