Sutton Park Grange

Sutton Park Grange is a residential care home supporting up to 64 people, including older adults and those living with dementia. At inspection, 40 people were using the service, which provides long-term and respite care. Staff were safely recruited and trained to support people effectively, with consistent teams who knew residents well. People told inspectors they felt safe. Staff were aware of risks to individuals and kept up to date with changes in care needs. Where accidents and incidents occurred, appropriate actions were taken and reported.

Staff had received training in recognising signs of abuse and understood their reporting responsibilities. Medication was managed safely and administered as prescribed. People and their families were involved in the assessment process before admission, and detailed care records provided staff with information about how to support each person and what mattered to them.
