Stobars Hall accommodates up to 38 older people in one adapted building. At inspection, 21 people were living there. The home implemented a comprehensive COVID-19 testing programme, with staff tested daily upon arrival.
A good supply of infection control resources supported the service throughout the pandemic, and the cleaning schedule had been increased accordingly. Visitors were screened on arrival, and relatives expressed positive comments about the visiting arrangements, including access for essential caregivers. The home had additional resources in place to support staff recruitment and retention.
