St Joseph's

St Joseph's is a residential care home accommodating up to 59 older people, some with dementia, across four wings named Jade, Ruby, Topaz and Pearl spread over two floors. Each wing features a communal lounge, dining area and kitchenette, with spacious conservatories and secure gardens available to residents. The home also provides short-stay respite care and is part of Father Hudson's Care, the social care agency of the Catholic Archdiocese for Birmingham. A chapel on site offers daily Mass for those who wish to attend.

During inspection, 54 people were living at the home. Staff levels were sufficient to provide safe and effective care, with the registered manager regularly reviewing staffing arrangements alongside senior staff to ensure they matched residents' needs appropriately.
