St Anthony's is a nursing home providing personal and nursing care to up to 34 people, some living with dementia or physical and mental health conditions. Following an earlier warning notice about safe care and governance, the CQC found the required improvements had been made, and the home's rating has moved from requires improvement to good.

People and relatives said they felt safe, well cared for and listened to, with kind, competent staff and enough of them available. A minor issue with window restrictors was found and addressed immediately during the assessment, and medicines were managed safely.

Date of assessment 1 October 2024 to 10 October 2024. St Anthony’s – Care Home with Nursing Physical Disabilities is a care home providing nursing and personal care to up to 34 people, some living with dementia, physical health and mental health conditions. This assessment was carried out to check whether the provider had complied with the warning notice issued at the last inspection in respect to breaches of regulation regarding safe care and treatment and the governance of the service. We found improvements had been made and all breaches had been met. Some further improvements were required to ensure window restrictors that were fully compliant with current guidance were in place and a safe environment was maintained for people and people's risks were managed safely but these were addressed immediately during the assessment. The overall rating for the service has changed from requires improvement to good based on the findings of this inspection.
