St Agnes Retirement Home

This residential care home provides personal care for up to 26 older people across two floors, with communal spaces including a lounge, quiet lounge, and dining room with garden access. At inspection, 18 people were living at the home. Staff supported residents to engage in meaningful activities and maintain connections with their local community and loved ones. The home was clean and tidy, with people enjoying their individual rooms and outdoor space. There was a good atmosphere where people felt listened to and respected.

The inspection identified that further developments were needed in governance systems to ensure all improvement areas were properly identified and incorporated into plans. This included improving the accuracy of care plans, how feedback was gathered from residents, and personalising end of life care planning to better meet individual needs.
