Silverwood (Nottingham)

Silverwood accommodates up to 80 older people in two separate wings, with one specializing in nursing care. Some residents are living with dementia and receive either personal or nursing care. At the time of inspection, 74 people were using the service.

Inspectors found that people were protected from neglect, with risks to health and safety properly assessed, monitored and reviewed. Staff numbers were adequate to provide safe care. The manager promptly addressed minor issues identified during the inspection, including securing cupboards and rooms that should have been locked.
