Shaftesbury House Residential Care Home

Shaftesbury House accommodates up to 28 older people, including those living with dementia, in one adapted building. At inspection, 27 people were using the service.

The home has systems in place to assess and mitigate risks of avoidable harm and abuse, learning from incidents to reduce future occurrences. Staff are available when needed and are recruited safely. People receive their medicines when needed, and the service maintains clean and hygienic standards. Residents are supported to have visits from family and friends, and staff support them to have maximum choice and control over their lives.
