Sesame

Sesame provides personal care and support for up to four people with learning disabilities and/or autistic spectrum disorder, some of whom have long-term health conditions and complex communication needs. At inspection, four people were living at the service.

Staff demonstrated that people are admitted safely and in accordance with national guidance. However, inspectors found that one person's admission records did not clearly document what infection control risks had been considered to protect them and other residents. Following the inspection, the provider introduced a specific risk assessment as part of their new Covid-19 protocol to address these gaps in their infection prevention measures.
