Sandgate Manor

Sandgate Manor is a care home providing support to up to 22 people with physical and/or learning disabilities and autism, including three single-person lodges alongside the main house. The CQC rated the service Requires Improvement overall, finding continued breaches around good governance and person-centred care, though the home had improved since the last inspection.

Inspectors found staff kind, respectful and well trained, with safe recruitment and enough staff on duty. However, care plans and records needed updating, communication plans lacked detail, and complaints recording could be improved. People said they felt safe, with one relative noting, "it's not perfect but it is improving.
