Rookery Cottage

Rookery Cottage provides personal care for six adults living with learning disabilities, autism, and physical or sensory impairments. The home is set across two floors within one adapted building, with each resident having their own bedroom plus shared bathrooms, lounge, dining room and kitchen. A large yard surrounds the back and sides of the property.

The registered manager and deputy manager effectively manage infection prevention and control measures. The building maintains high cleanliness standards with sufficient personal protective equipment available throughout. Hand hygiene facilities in bathrooms are clean, accessible and fully stocked. The service checks visitors' COVID-19 vaccination status and lateral flow test results before entry to protect residents from infection risk.
