Rivermede Court

Rivermede Court is a purpose-built residential care home providing personal care to up to 80 older people, including those with age-related frailties and dementia. At inspection, 54 people were using the service. Residents and family members reported feeling safe and comfortable raising concerns with staff or management. Staff received safeguarding training and understood how to prevent and report abuse, with confidence that the registered manager would act on disclosures.

The service maintains high standards of cleanliness and infection control practices. Trained and competent staff administer medicines safely, and people's health risks are properly assessed and managed. Staff follow detailed care plans when supporting people with moving and positioning equipment, and comprehensive guidance is available for managing specific conditions such as diabetes.
