About Risby Park Nursing Home

Risby Park Nursing Home is a nursing home in Suffolk, providing care for older people, including those living with dementia. Details of the most recent CQC findings are set out below.

Risby Park Nursing Home provides accommodation, nursing and personal care for up to 54 older people, including those living with dementia. The CQC rated the service outstanding overall, finding exceptional, compassionate care with staff who built genuine, trusting relationships with people and their families. Care was highly personalised, activities were tailored to individual needs, and leaders were committed to innovation and partnership working.

Inspectors found staff well trained and supported, with effective governance in most areas. However, improvement was needed in the management, auditing and oversight of medicines, and a new electronic recording system required refinement to ensure timely, up to date records.
