Ridgeway Lodge Care Home

Ridgeway Lodge provides personal and nursing care to up to 61 older people, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 42 people were using the service. The home has made significant improvements since the last inspection, particularly in dementia care. Staffing levels are now consistently adequate to meet people's needs, with more permanent staff recruited who have developed good knowledge of individual residents and their requirements.

Care records have improved substantially, with comprehensive risk assessments and personalised support plans now in place. People living with dementia who show signs of distress receive appropriate and safe support. The home has implemented stronger processes for learning from incidents and sharing lessons with staff. Person-centred care is now a priority, with particular improvements in how the home plans and delivers care tailored to individual needs, especially for those living with dementia.
