Ribble Valley Care Home

Ribble Valley Care Home provides personal care to up to 40 older people, with 21 residents at the time of inspection. The service assessed people's needs and developed individual care plans to guide support. Care records included well-maintained risk assessments that were kept up-to-date. Staff supported residents to have maximum choice and control over their lives, using the least restrictive approaches and acting in their best interests. The home's policies and systems reflected this commitment to person-centred care. A recommendation was made regarding improvements to the recording processes for medicines management.
