Rectory Court

Rectory Court provides personal care to 28 residents aged 65 and over, with capacity for up to 41 people. The purpose-built home spans three floors and features large communal areas, bedrooms and bathrooms. During the inspection, good practice was evident in the provider's Covid-19 safety measures, including clear visitor guidance displayed at reception and staff adherence to PPE and social distancing requirements. Residents were supported to maintain contact with families through garden visits, phone calls, and video calls. The home had developed newsletters to keep families informed of events and activities.

The provider maintained an infection prevention and control policy with isolation room provisions for residents requiring quarantine or recovering from hospital admission. Staff assessments identified those more vulnerable to Covid-19, with a furlough scheme in place to protect both staff and residents where it was unsafe for employees to work on-site.
